Dr. Amy Schulting, PhD, MEd, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, is the Minnesota Department of Education Dyslexia Specialist. She is passionate about providing early identification and intervention for students with reading difficulties. Dr. Schulting is certified as a dyslexia interventionist through the International Dyslexia Association and Center for Effective Reading Instruction with certification in the Wilson Reading System.
Dr. Schulting completed her PhD in clinical psychology at Duke University and received her specialized training at UNC-Chapel Hill addressing developmental and learning disabilities and school-based intervention. She is also a former pre-K-12 teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Virginia and has been an education policy researcher at Duke University, a clinical psychologist in private practice, and an educational consultant for school districts in Minnesota and Michigan.
