Join in-service teachers, specialists, and administrators to discuss Joan Sedita's new book focused on "Integrating Evidence-Based Reading and Writing Instruction in Grades 5-12." You will meet once or twice online or in person, depending on the preference of your group.
This topic is highly important now since Phase 2 of the Minnesota READ Act requires that districts and charter schools must provide upper-grade reading teachers and instructional support staff with specialized training in approved evidence-based reading instruction.
